It always ‘fuzzies’ my heart to hear about how my clients met and proposed. I especially love hearing stories like Clair and Mikes because it reminds me that sometimes we do need to go with our gut feelings and just see where the journey of love takes us. Here’s part of Clairs email to me…isn’t she adorable!!

”I’m definitely enthusiastic about your work. It makes me smile from ear to ear.By sheer luck, I found you while searching for wedding stuff.

Mike and I actually met online! I was a beginner at snowboarding and loved it. Unfortunately I was living in Phoenix. Bored and dreaming of snow, I went to look at pretty gear on Burton’s website. I saw they had a message board and got hooked reading through the threads to kill down time at work. Despite not knowing anything about him, my gut told me to send a hello message to Mike. We became friends with no other intentions, but when I came out to visit Colorado we were both done for. And here we are getting hitched! He asked my dad in secret, bought the ring on his own and proposed to me on a trip to San Fran for our 1st anniversary. It happened fast but at the risk of sounding like a cliche, it feels like I’ve known him forever.”

I am stupidly excited to be shooting their wedding in March at the gorgeous venue of  Mile High Station in Denver….can’t wait!
