Rachel + Dustin know a thing or two about throwing a bright, modern, big family dinner party wedding, which isn’t surprising if you know Rachel through her thoughtful, crafty blog, Heart of Light. Using lots of movement, turquoise, coral and yellow, they were able to incorporate some of Dustin’s Mexican heritage without going too literal and making it look themed. Down a small dirt road, in a clearing surrounded by mountains and pine trees, there was a wedding. And a kick-ass party.

Oh and if you are in Colorado and looking for an amazing bluegrass band then take a look at The Kentucky Parlor Pickers – they were so amazing when it was time for them to leave and the DJ to start there was a mutiny and most everyone tried to bribe them to stay – they are really really really good!! Book them!

This Pastures of Plenty Wedding was pure gorgeousness! This venue is quite special.  It is an organic farm located just north of Boulder that is a beautiful location for a wedding.  The food is grown and location and most of it is used for the event catering, done by Big Bang Catering. Couple that with the amazing 1920′s theme Melissa and James chose and you have an amazing unique wedding. Some photos from a recent Los Angeles wedding at the gorgeous Huron Substation. Cutest. Couple. Ever.

So happy to have the opportunity to photograph another gorgeous wedding at the stunning Piney River Ranch! Catherine and Dave are two amazingly sweet people and I feel so privileged  to have shared their special day with them. Heres a few frames from the day…..as you can even the inconvenient rain didn’t stop them from having constant adoring smiles at each other!

The bride was a twin for Anne Hathaway and the groomsmen should have auditioned for parts in The Hangover – how could this wedding not be photogenic! So much awesomeness I actually don’t know where to start….but here’s a sneak peek!

Amelia and Will had planned a day reminiscent of relaxed, sunny Sunday afternoon spent catching up with close friends and family. They rented an incredible house in the beautiful area of Bolinas and really just wanted a no fuss, no itinerary kind of wedding day.  The type of day that was all about celebrating real love and good friendships. You can tell by the photos that they nailed it!

I am such a color person that I don’t usually post a lot of black and white photos on here – but here is two cute ones I wanted to share from a really special wedding I shot recently that about 500 people attended….I know I always say this but I swear more photos to come soon!
