I was lucky enough to photograph the ‘elopement’ of two very gorgeous people today. Perfect weather. Check. Beautiful couple. Check. Stunning lighting. Check. All the ingredients for some amazing photos!

Doves represent the purity of love. They’re spiritual. When I was looking for a space to do ‘first look’ I had no idea how special and perfect this little spot I found would be. Britt and Bob said a prayer together and hugged and kissed in a little room full of art that the artist specifically created to honor and remind her of God…hence the dove projection seemingly flying down onto them. Even though I may not write much in my posts I actually feel a lot of emotion with each and every photoshoot I do with my clients and with each and every photo I post. To me this photo is particularly special and gives me goosebumps every time I look at it (in a good ‘real love is so amazing’ way). Real love is amazing. And its photos like this one that make me feel so incredibly fortunate to be able to share these special moments in peoples lives.

The ring bearer was their gorgeous, very obedient and loyal dog! The next two photos are of Beths Dad putting a penny in her boot for good luck….he also got super teary afterwards.

Really great pictures, fantastic shots! I am taking a break from photoshoots this week to concentrate on training for the National Downhill Championships next weekend (since I have been so busy with photography this summer I have barely been on my bike…not the best plan if I want to win my races) After looking back through one of my most fav photoshoots this year…Katy and Randy….I thought I would post a few more photos from their engagement session in the Denver Botanic Gardens. I seriously can’t wait for their wedding next month….it’s going to be AWESOME!!

Oh hooray! That kissing picture makes my nose tickle – so glad that Randy (or I) doesn’t have a moustache! Love ALL of our pictures so much, Mel. You are really the greatest downhill biker AND photographer!! I don’t usually post any of the commercial work that I shoot…but since I styled everything in this photoshoot myself I thought I would pop some photos up from it. Lindsey was an amazing and I think you will agree super cute model who is just such a beautiful person inside and out. Clothes are all Urban Outfitters. Jewelry is Rebecca Bourke Designs – an super cool local Colorado artist that makes all the jewelry herself. I am in the process of helping her photograph all her jewelry and start a website and etsy store up so stay tuned for more info on where to find more of her work. In the meantime…enjoy the photos…..

Viva, Chike…these are really really lovely!! Malta here we come!!! Have I mentioned that I love my job! Last week I shot Katy + Randy’s engagement session at the Botanic Gardens and had such a blast with them – I loved all the outfits they picked and their vintage bikes! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding coming up in August!!! is it just me or is this year is going by so quickly! Time….please slow down for a bit…
