Although every wedding I photograph is so completely different there is one thing that I am very grateful is always the same with my wonderful brides and grooms…..and that is their amazing sense of style! And this Julie and Justins sweet wedding was no exception!!
Here is a little blurb from Julie about what she envisioned for their day:
Our inspiration for the wedding came from that sweet, content feeling you get when you’re surrounded by love…and close family and friends.
Kind of like a kid on his/her birthday. The younger kids had so much fun running amuck in the background, while we grown-ups mingled beneath the Spring sun. It was amazing. Not only did we become husband and wife, but we got to spend the afternoon listening to old school tunes and catch up with our friends. My good friend in Hawaii
couldn’t make it to the wedding because of certain circumstances, but she was so thoughtful and surprised us with beautiful, fresh lei. The scent of tuberose filled the air! (I guess I ended up with the Groom’s lei because it looked cool with the dress. haha) Hands down, love & friendship are a couple of the neatest things on the planet.
My advice to future brides: follow your hearts, but don’t sweat the small stuff. As the saying goes: it really is small stuff. As you plan, things will fall into place. It really is true! Also, a budget
bride is a cool bride. haha Thank God for thrift shops, Etsy.com and Amazon.com!
